The National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) won the Golden Excellence Shield of Social Responsibility. This award is provided by the Arab Organization for Social Responsibility for active entities in the field of social responsibility and community service. The NCSI has grabbed this award on 29/10/2015 during a glittering ceremony held in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan as a result of the approaches and methods used by it in communicating sound and accurate information for all categories of the Omani society. In addition, the award recognizes the NCSI’s constant pursuit to keep pace with the technological development through its responsibility towards providing statistical information in various templates through the official website of the centre.
