The Centre is gearing up to organise a three-day training program on statistical analysis between October 29 and October 31. This training is aimed at teaching concepts and methods of the use of the SPSS software to participants. This will help in data collection, analysis, interpretation and their use in statistical analysis.
During the program, the participants will know about the characteristics and features of the statistical analysis software and would learn skills of dealing with statistical variables and methods of entering statistical data, as well as conducting its descriptive analysis.
Those who are working in various statistical departments would participate in this programme, which will include theoretical lectures and practical works as well as tests.
Participate in the program, which includes theoretical lectures and practical applications and tests for trainees working in statistical units and various statistical departments.
The SPSS software is a statistical application consists of a set of lists and tools through which the data obtained by the scientific researcher can be entered. This data is normally collected through questionnaires, interviews and in the forms of remarks. They are analysed by this software. This software relies on digital information and it is highly capable in processing the data, which can be extended and can be used in all scientific research programmes.
