In its endeavor of social commitment of the Government of the Sultanate of Oman, development of pension funds have great interest based on the fact that pension funds are considered as one of the important financial mechanisms in any society, which means collecting mandatory or optional fees to be distributed later to the pensioners registered, and disposal of certain types of Compensation for some categories.

In order to monitor the reality of pension funds in the Sultanate, and in support of its development efforts, the National Center for Statistics and Information has issued the 2022 pension funds regestred bulletin in Arabic a, including the data of 2021, which includes tables and data pertinent to the Numbers of pensioners registered with some Pension Funds and pension entitlements according to reasons of end of service and category of pension value together with the number of employees governed by the Pension and After –Service Gratuity Law and other relevant data.
