Attention to climate and its statistics has been increased, whereas many studies and multiple research depend on its scientific results, and because of their practical benefits that can be applied in various areas of human activity, where climate conditions are closely linked to agricultural characteristics of ritual and climate, through which land preparation for planting periods, dates of flowering, characteristics of the agricultural cycle, harvest, and methods of irrigation and drainage can be determined, as well as transportation movement can be affected by diverse climatic conditions.

In consistent with the link climate statistics with many economic and social activities, the National Center for Statistics and Information has issued during the 2017 Seventh issue of climate statistics bulletin in Arabic and English, which includes the weather statistics at once of those bulletins. The publication includes tables and data about the average monthly temperature, average monthly rainfall by governorate and wind speed and other data related to weather statistics.
