National accounts represent a consistent measure of the economic activities, including production and expenditure and various governmental or non-governmental income activities, and wealth, as well as represent the cash flows and stocks, and estimates for the money value of income and GDP. National accounts also include measures of the changes in assets, liabilities, and net worth of the assets.

The national accounts bulletin gives a statistical description of the Sultanate's economy status, through the availability of important data and indicators with regard to their relations with various economic activities.
