An analytical study concerned with the characteristics of employees and their distribution patterns, age distribution and levels of economic dependency of workers, this study is part of an important series of studies conducted by the Center in order to provide supporting data for decision-making and the development of programs targeting this group, especially as we enter new stage of development that seeks to utilize capabilities and capacities of all the Omani and the youth in particular.

Through this study we highlight the workers and their distribution to the provinces and the Sultanate, as well as their characteristics depending on housing and households, and their demographic characteristics, and distribution by type and their relationship to the head of families, and also includes educational characteristics, economic status, and the characteristics of those with special needs, according to data collected from the Population, Housing and Establishments Census 2010 in the Sultanate of Oman.
