مؤشر ثقة المستهلك (Index of Consumer Sentiment, ICS) من المؤشرات الهامة لأداء النشاط الاقتصادي، ويهدف إلى قياس مدى رضا المواطن عن الأوضاع الاقتصادية الحالية (مثل: التضخم، وفرص العمل، وسبل الاستثمار، وحالة السياسات الاقتصادية، وتكاليف المعيشة،... الخ) وكذلك مدى التفاؤل بخصوص تطور تلك الأوضاع في الأجل القصير (مدة عام).

The Index of Consumer Sentiment is one of important indices for the economic activity performance. It aims to measure the extent of the citizen's satisfaction of the current economic situations, such as inflation, job opportunities, investment ways, status of economic policies, costs of living. etc. And also the extent of optimism with respect to the development of such situations in the short term (one year period).
