سجل الميزان التجاري لسلطنة عمان فائضاً بـ 732 مليون ريال عماني حتى نهاية شهر فبراير 2026م مقارنة بفائض بلغ 955 مليون ريال عُماني خلال الفترة ذاتها من عام 2025م، وفق ما بينت الإحصاءات المبدئية الصادرة عن المركز الوطني للإحصاء والمعلومات.وأظهرت الإحصاءات إلى أن إجمالي قيمة الصادرات السلعية سجلت 3 مليارات و578 مليون ريال عُماني بنهاية شهر فبراير 2026م، مُسجلاً انخفاضاً بنسبة 2.3 بالمئة مقارنة بالفترة ذاتها من العام السابق والتي سجلت وقتها 3 مليارات و663 مليون ريال عُماني. بالمقابل ارتفع إجمالي الواردات السلعية المسجلة إلى سلطنة عُمان بنسبة 5.1 بالمئة لتصل إلى مليارين و846 مليون ريال عُماني، مقارنة بـ ملياران و708 مليون ريال عُماني خلال نفس ذاتها من عام 2025م.ويُعزى انخفاض قيمة الصادرات السلعية لسلطنة عُمان بشكل رئيسي إلى انخفاض قيمة صادرات سلطنة عمان من النفط والغاز، التي بلغت ملياران و207 مليون ريال عُماني بنهاية شهر فبراير 2026م، مسجلة انخفاضًا نسبته 9 بالمئة، مقارنة بنفس ذاتها من العام السابق، حيث بلغت آنذاك ملياران و426 مليون ريال عُماني.في المقابل، ارتفاع قيمة الصادرات السلعية غير النفطية لسلطنة عُمان بنسبة 11.4 بالمئة، لتبلغ مليارا و129 مليون ريال عماني، بنهاية شهر فبراير 2026م، مقارنة بـ ملياراً و13 مليون ريال عُماني خلال الفترة ذاتها من عام 2025م.كما شهدت قيمة عمليات إعادة التصدير من سلطنة عمان ارتفاعاً إلى 242 مليون ريال عماني بنهاية شهر فبراير 2026، مسجلة نمواً بنسبة 8.6 بالمئة مقارنة بـ 223 مليون ريال عماني خلال الفترة ذاتها من عام 2025م.وتصدرت دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة عمليات التبادل التجاري في الصادرات غير النفطية بنهاية شهر فبراير 2026م بما قيمته 258 مليون ريال عماني، مسجلاً ارتفاعاً بنسبة 37.5 بالمئة بالفترة ذاتها من عام 2025م، وكذلك عمليات التبادل التجاري في إعادة التصدير من سلطنة عمان، حيث بلغت قيمة إعادة التصدير إليها 80 مليون ريال عماني. وأيضا في الدول المصدرة لسلطنة عمان بقيمة 780 مليون ريال عماني. وجاءت المملكة العربية السعودية في المرتبة الثانية في الصادرات غير النفطية بقيمة 150 مليون ريال عماني، تلتها كوريا الجنوبية 110 مليون ريال عماني، وفيما يخص إعادة التصدير جاءت السعودية في المرتبة الثانية بقيمة 55 مليون ريال عماني، تلتها إيران بقيمة 39 مليون ريال عماني. أما في جانب الواردات، فجاءت الصين في المرتبة الثانية بقيمة 397 مليون ريال عماني، تلتها دولة الهند بما قيمته 235 مليون ريال عُماني.&nbsp;

According to preliminary statistics issued by the National Centre for Statistics and Information, the Sultanate of Oman recorded a trade balance surplus of OMR 732 million by the end of February 2026, compared to a surplus of OMR 955 million during the corresponding period in 2025.The statistics showed that the total value of merchandise exports reached OMR 3 billion and 578 million by the end of February 2026, reflecting a decline of 2.3% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, when exports stood at OMR 3 billion and 663 million.Meanwhile, the total value of merchandise imports into the Sultanate of Oman increased by 5.1% to reach OMR 2 billion and 846 million, compared to OMR 2 billion and 708 million during the same period in 2025.The decline in the value of Oman’s merchandise exports is mainly attributed to a decrease in oil and gas exports, which amounted to OMR 2 billion and 207 million by the end of February 2026, recording a decline of 9% compared to the same period in the previous year, when they stood at OMR 2 billion and 426 million.In contrast, non-oil merchandise exports increased by 11.4%, reaching OMR 1billion and 129 million by the end of February 2026, compared to OMR 1 billion and 13 million during the same period in 2025.Re-export activities from the Sultanate of Oman also increased, reaching OMR 242 million by the end of February 2026, reflecting a growth of 8.6% compared to OMR 223 million during the same period in 2025.The United Arab Emirates ranked first in non-oil merchandise trade exchanges by the end of February 2026, with a total value of OMR 258 million, recording an increase of 37.5% compared to the same period in 2025. The UAE also led in re-export trade with Oman, with re-exports from Oman amounting to OMR 80 million. In addition, imports from countries exporting to Oman reached a value of OMR 780 million.Saudi Arabia ranked second in non-oil exports with a value of OMR 150 million, followed by South Korea with OMR 110 million.In terms of re-exports, Saudi Arabia came in second place with a value of OMR 55 million, followed by Iran with OMR 39 million. As for the imports, China ranked second with a value of OMR 397 million, followed by India with imports worth OMR 235 million.

بلغ إجمالي سكان سلطنة عُمان 5 ملايين و368 ألفاً و120 نسمة بنهاية شهر مارس من عام 2026م، مسجلاً نمواً نسبته 1.6 بالمئة مقارنة بالفترة نفسها من عام 2025م، وذلك وفقاً لما بيّنَتْه النشرة الإحصائية الشهرية للمركز الوطني للإحصاء والمعلومات.وتصدّرت محافظة مسقط قائمة المحافظات من حيث الكثافة السكانية، مستحوذةً على 28.6 بالمئة من إجمالي سكان سلطنة عُمان، حيث بلغ عدد سكانها مليوناً و533 آلاف و69 نسمة، شكل العُمانيون منهم نسبة 39 بالمئة.وجاءت محافظة شمال الباطنة في المرتبة الثانية، بعدد سكان بلغ 940 ألفاً و464 نسمة، وبنسبة 17.5 بالمئة، فيما سجل سكان محافظة جنوب الباطنة 586 ألفاً و680 نسمة، بنسبة 10.9 بالمئة.وفي المرتبة الرابعة، بلغ عدد سكان محافظة الداخلية 571 ألفاً و717 نسمة، بنسبة 10.7 بالمئة، تلتها محافظة ظفار في المرتبة الخامسة بعدد 534 ألفاً و696 نسمة، وبنسبة 10 بالمئة.أما بقية المحافظات، فقد سجّلت محافظة جنوب الشرقية 376 ألفاً و206 نسمة بنسبة 7 بالمئة، ومحافظة شمال الشرقية 322 ألفاً و6 نسمة بنسبة 6 بالمئة، ومحافظة الظاهرة 247 ألفاً و807 نسمة بنسبة 4.6 بالمئة، ومحافظة البريمي 135 ألفاً و212 نسمة بنسبة 2.5 بالمئة، في حين بلغ عدد سكان محافظة الوسطى 64 ألفاً و350 نسمة بنسبة 1.2 بالمئة، ومحافظة مسندم 55 ألفاً و913 نسمة بنسبة 1 بالمئة.

Its population reached 1 million, 533 thousand and 69, of whom Omani citizens represented 39%.&nbsp;Al Batinah North Governorate ranked second with a population of 940 thousand and 464, representing 17.5% of the total population, while Al Batinah South Governorate recorded a population of 586 thousand and 680, accounting for 10.9%.In fourth place, Al Dakhiliyah Governorate registered a population of 571 thousand and 717, representing 10.7%, followed by Dhofar Governorate in fifth place with a population of 534 thousand and 696, accounting for 10%.The remaining governorates recorded the following population figures: South Al Sharqiyah Governorate registered 376 thousand and 206 residents, representing 7% of the total population, while North Al Sharqiyah Governorate recorded 322 thousand and 6 residents, accounting for 6%. Al Dhahirah Governorate registered a population of 247 thousand and 807, representing 4.6%, and Al Buraimi Governorate recorded 135 thousand and 212 residents, accounting for 2.5%. Meanwhile, Al Wusta Governorate recorded a population of 64 thousand and 350, representing 1.2%, while Musandam Governorate registered 55 thousand and 913 residents, accounting for 1% of the total population.

يبدأ المركز الوطني للإحصاء والمعلومات يوم الأحد الموافق 10 مايو 2026م تنفيذ أعمال مسح الاقتصاد الرقمي لعام 2025م، والذي يستمر حتى منتصف شهر أغسطس المقبل، بهدف قياس مساهمة الاقتصاد الرقمي في الناتج المحلي الإجمالي لسلطنة عُمان. ويشمل المسح المؤسسات العاملة في أنشطة تقنية المعلومات والاتصالات، والمؤسسات التي تزاول خدمات التجارة الإلكترونية، إضافة إلى منصات الوساطة الرقمية، وذلك ضمن عينة من الأنشطة الاقتصادية المختلفة في سلطنة عُمان. وقال عبد العزيز بن خميس بن محمد السنيدي مدير دائرة الحسابات القومية بالمركز الوطني للإحصاء والمعلومات إن تنفيذ المسح يأتي في إطار جهود المركز لقياس حجم الاقتصاد الرقمي ورصد مساهمته في الاقتصاد الوطني، بما يدعم إعداد مؤشرات دقيقة تساعد متخذي القرار في رسم السياسات الاقتصادية وتعزيز التحول الرقمي في سلطنة عُمان. وأضاف أن نتائج المسح ستمكن من تقدير مساهمة الاقتصاد الرقمي في الناتج المحلي الإجمالي لعام 2025م بالأسعار الجارية، وفق المستويات الثلاث المعتمدة دوليًا، وهي الاقتصاد الرقمي الأساسي والضيق والواسع، مشيرًا إلى أن المسح يمثل أحد المشاريع الإحصائية المهمة لمواكبة التحولات الاقتصادية والتقنية المتسارعة. وأوضح أن جمع البيانات سيتم إلكترونيًا عبر الرابط المخصص للمسح، على أن يتولى المركز التواصل مع المؤسسات المستهدفة من خلال الاتصال المباشر أو البريد الإلكتروني لتزويدها بالرابط وتقديم الدعم اللازم، داعيًا المؤسسات إلى التعاون وتقديم البيانات المطلوبة بما يسهم في تعزيز جودة المخرجات الإحصائية ودقتها. موكدًا أن جميع البيانات التي يتم جمعها ستعامل بسرية تامة، ولن تُستخدم إلا للأغراض الإحصائية، وفقًا لأحكام المرسوم السلطاني رقم 55/2019، بإصدار قانون الإحصاء والمعلومات.

National Centre for Statistics and Information will begin implementing the Digital Economy Survey 2025 tomorrow, Sunday, to measure the contribution of the digital economy to the gross domestic product (GDP) of Sultanate of Oman. The survey will continue until mid-August 2026. The survey targets institutions operating in information and communication technology (ICT) activities, companies providing e-commerce services, and digital intermediation platforms, in addition to a sample of establishments representing various economic sectors across the Sultanate. Abdulaziz bin Khamis bin Mohammed Al Sunaidi, Director of the National Accounts Department at the NCSI, said the survey forms part of the Centre’s efforts to measure the size of the digital economy and monitor its contribution to the national economy. He explained that the survey will support the development of accurate indicators to assist decision-makers in formulating economic policies and advancing digital transformation initiatives in Oman. Al Sunaidi told the Oman News Agency that the survey results will enable the estimation of the digital economy’s contribution to GDP for 2025 at current prices, based on the three internationally recognised classifications of the digital economy: the basic, narrow, and broad digital economy. He noted that the survey represents one of the important statistical projects aimed at keeping pace with rapid economic and technological developments. The NCSI stated that data collection will be conducted electronically through a dedicated survey link. The Centre will communicate directly with targeted institutions and provide the necessary technical support, urging establishments to cooperate and provide the required data to enhance the quality and accuracy of statistical outputs.
