سجل الميزان التجاري لسلطنة عُمان فائضًا بلغ 3.4 مليار ريال عُماني بنهاية مايو 2026م، مقارنةً بفائض بلغ 2.5 مليار ريال عُماني خلال الفترة المماثلة من عام 2025م، محققًا نموًا بنسبة 37.2 بالمائة، وفقًا للبيانات الصادرة عن المركز الوطني للإحصاء والمعلومات.وأظهرت البيانات ارتفاع إجمالي قيمة الصادرات السلعية لسلطنة عُمان بنسبة 10.1 بالمائة، ليبلغ 10.6 مليار ريال عُماني بنهاية مايو 2026م، مقارنةً بـ 9.6 مليار ريال عُماني خلال الفترة المماثلة من عام 2025م.وجاء هذا الأداء مدفوعًا بارتفاع قيمة صادرات النفط والغاز بنسبة 8.4 بالمائة، لتبلغ 6.8 مليار ريال عُماني، مقارنةً بـ 6.3 مليار ريال عُماني بنهاية مايو 2025م.كما ارتفعت قيمة إعادة التصدير بنسبة 64 بالمائة، لتبلغ مليار ريال عُماني، مقابل 623 مليون ريال عُماني، فيما سجلت الصادرات غير النفطية نموًا بنسبة 1.5 بالمائة، لتصل إلى 2.74 مليار ريال عُماني، مقارنةً بـ 2.70 مليار ريال عُماني خلال الفترة المماثلة من العام السابق.وفي المقابل، ارتفعت قيمة الواردات السلعية بنسبة 0.8 بالمائة، لتبلغ 7.22 مليار ريال عُماني بنهاية مايو 2026م، مقارنةً بـ 7.20 مليار ريال عُماني بنهاية مايو 2025م.وعلى صعيد الشركاء التجاريين، تصدرت دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة قائمة أبرز وجهات الصادرات العُمانية غير النفطية بقيمة 645 مليون ريال عُماني، تلتها المملكة العربية السعودية بقيمة 283 مليون ريال عُماني، ثم الهند بقيمة 280 مليون ريال عُماني.وفيما يتعلق بإعادة التصدير حتى نهاية مايو 2026م، تصدرت دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة قائمة أهم الدول المعاد التصدير إليها بقيمة بلغت 432.7 مليون ريال عُماني، وجاءت في مقدمة السلع المعاد تصديرها إليها اللؤلؤ الطبيعي أو المستنبت والأحجار الكريمة أو شبه الكريمة والمعادن الثمينة ومصنوعاتها والحلي والنقود بقيمة 271.4 مليون ريال عُماني، تلتها الآلات والأجهزة الآلية والمعدات الكهربائية وأجزاؤها بقيمة 79.1 مليون ريال عُماني.وجاءت الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية في المرتبة الثانية بقيمة 172.8 مليون ريال عُماني، تصدرتها منتجات صناعة الأغذية والمشروبات والسوائل والتبغ وأبدال التبغ المصنعة بقيمة 83.5 مليون ريال عُماني، تلتها الآلات والأجهزة الآلية والمعدات الكهربائية وأجزاؤها بقيمة 31.6 مليون ريال عُماني.وحلت المملكة العربية السعودية في المرتبة الثالثة بقيمة 164.6 مليون ريال عُماني، تصدرتها العربات والطائرات والبواخر ومعدات النقل المماثلة بقيمة 148.4 مليون ريال عُماني، تلتها السلع والمنتجات المتنوعة بقيمة 4.6 مليون ريال عُماني.كما بلغت قيمة إعادة التصدير إلى هونج كونج 18.5 مليون ريال عُماني، تصدرتها الأدوات والأجهزة للبصريات والتصوير والقياس والفحص والطب والجراحة وأصناف صناعة الساعات والأدوات الموسيقية وأجزاؤها ولوازمها بقيمة 11 مليون ريال عُماني، تلتها اللؤلؤ الطبيعي أو المستنبت والأحجار الكريمة أو شبه الكريمة والمعادن الثمينة ومصنوعاتها والحلي والنقود بقيمة 6 ملايين ريال عُماني.وبلغت قيمة إعادة التصدير إلى روسيا 16.2 مليون ريال عُماني، تصدرتها التحف الفنية وقطع المجموعات والقطع الأثرية بقيمة 14.1 مليون ريال عُماني، تلتها الآلات والأجهزة الآلية والمعدات الكهربائية وأجزاؤها بقيمة 1.7 مليون ريال عُماني.وفي جانب الواردات السلعية، تصدرت دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة قائمة أبرز الدول المصدرة إلى سلطنة عُمان بقيمة 1.9 مليار ريال عُماني، تلتها الصين بقيمة 986 مليون ريال عُماني، ثم تركيا بقيمة 550 مليون ريال عُماني.

The Sultanate of Oman’s trade balance recorded a surplus of 3.4 billion OMR by the end of May 2026, compared with a surplus of 2.5 billion OMR during the corresponding period in 2025, registering a growth of 37.2%, according to data issued by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI).The data showed that the total value of Oman’s merchandise exports rose by 10.1% to reach 10.6 billion OMR by the end of May 2026, compared with 9.6 billion OMR during the corresponding period in 2025.This performance was driven by an 8.4% increase in the value of oil and gas exports, which reached 6.8 billion OMR, compared with 6.3 billion OMR by the end of May 2025.The value of re-exports also increased by 64% to reach 1 billion OMR, compared with 623 million OMR. Meanwhile, non-oil exports grew by 1.5% to reach 2.74 billion OMR, compared with 2.70 billion OMR during the corresponding period last year.In contrast, the value of merchandise imports rose by 0.8% to reach 7.22 billion OMR by the end of May 2026, compared with 7.20 billion OMR by the end of May 2025.In terms of trading partners, the United Arab Emirates topped the list of Oman’s non-oil export destinations, with a value of 645 million OMR, followed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at 283 million OMR and India at 280 million OMR.Regarding re-exports by the end of May 2026, the United Arab Emirates topped the list of key re-export destinations, with a value of 432.7 million OMR. Natural or cultured pearls, precious or semi-precious stones, precious metals, articles thereof, jewellery and coins led the list of commodities re-exported to the UAE, with a value of 271.4 million OMR, followed by machinery, mechanical appliances, electrical equipment and parts thereof at 79.1 million OMR.The Islamic Republic of Iran came second, with re-exports valued at 172.8 million OMR. Products of the food industries, beverages, liquids, tobacco and manufactured tobacco substitutes topped the list of commodities re-exported to Iran, with a value of 83.5 million OMR, followed by machinery, mechanical appliances, electrical equipment and parts thereof at 31.6 million OMR.The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ranked third, with re-exports valued at 164.6 million OMR. Vehicles, aircraft, vessels and associated transport equipment topped the list of commodities re-exported to Saudi Arabia, with a value of 148.4 million OMR, followed by miscellaneous goods and products at 4.6 million OMR.The value of re-exports to Hong Kong stood at 18.5 million OMR. Optical, photographic, measuring, checking, medical or surgical instruments and apparatus; clocks and watches; musical instruments; and parts and accessories thereof topped the list, with a value of 11 million OMR, followed by natural or cultured pearls, precious or semi-precious stones, precious metals, articles thereof, jewellery and coins at 6 million OMR.Re-exports to Russia reached 16.2 million OMR. Works of art, collectors’ pieces and antiques topped the list, with a value of 14.1 million OMR, followed by machinery, mechanical appliances, electrical equipment and parts thereof at 1.7 million OMR.On the merchandise imports side, the United Arab Emirates topped the list of leading countries exporting to the Sultanate of Oman, with a value of 1.9 billion OMR, followed by China at 986 million OMR and Türkiye at 550 million OMR.

بلغ إجمالي عدد سكان سلطنة عُمان 5 ملايين و398 ألفًا و645 نسمة بنهاية شهر يونيو 2026م، مسجلًا نموًا بنسبة 1.7 بالمائة، مقارنةً بـ5 ملايين و306 آلاف و976 نسمة بنهاية شهر يونيو 2025م، وفقًا لبيانات النشرة الإحصائية الشهرية الصادرة عن المركز الوطني للإحصاء والمعلومات.وبحسب الجنسية، بلغ عدد العُمانيين 3 ملايين و63 ألفًا و949 نسمة بنهاية شهر يونيو 2026م، لتبلغ نسبتهم 56.75 بالمائة من إجمالي سكان سلطنة عُمان، فيما بلغ عدد الوافدين مليونين و334 ألفًا و696 نسمة، بما نسبته 43.25 بالمائة.وعلى مستوى المحافظات، تصدرت محافظة مسقط المحافظات من حيث عدد السكان، بإجمالي مليون و542 ألفًا و619 نسمة، بما نسبته 28.6 بالمائة من إجمالي سكان سلطنة عُمان.وجاءت محافظة شمال الباطنة في المرتبة الثانية بعدد سكان بلغ 947 ألفًا و147 نسمة، بما نسبته 17.5 بالمائة من إجمالي السكان، تلتها محافظة جنوب الباطنة بـ590 ألفًا و160 نسمة، وبنسبة 10.9 بالمائة.وحلّت محافظة الداخلية في المرتبة الرابعة بعدد سكان بلغ 575 ألفًا و96 نسمة، بما نسبته 10.7 بالمائة من إجمالي السكان، تلتها محافظة ظفار في المرتبة الخامسة بـ536 ألفًا و302 نسمة، وبنسبة 9.9 بالمائة.أما بقية المحافظات، فقد بلغ عدد سكان محافظة جنوب الشرقية 378 ألفًا و335 نسمة، بما نسبته 7 بالمائة، تلتها محافظة شمال الشرقية بـ323 ألفًا و473 نسمة، وبنسبة 6 بالمائة، ثم محافظة الظاهرة بـ249 ألفًا و95 نسمة، وبنسبة 4.6 بالمائة.وبلغ عدد سكان محافظة البريمي 135 ألفًا و797 نسمة، بما نسبته 2.5 بالمائة، فيما بلغ عدد سكان محافظة الوسطى 64 ألفًا و815 نسمة، وبنسبة 1.2 بالمائة، وسجلت محافظة مسندم 55 ألفًا و806 نسمات، بما نسبته 1 بالمائة من إجمالي سكان سلطنة عُمان.

The total population of the Sultanate of Oman stood at 5,388,513 people by the end of May 2026, recording a growth of 1.6% compared with the same period in 2025, according to data from the Monthly Statistical Bulletin issued by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI).Muscat Governorate maintained its lead in terms of population, with 1,538,312 people, accounting for 28.6% of the Sultanate of Oman’s total population.North Al Batinah Governorate ranked second, with a population of 945,647 people, representing 17.6% of the total population, followed by South Al Batinah Governorate with 589,152 people, or 10.9%.Al Dakhiliyah Governorate came fourth, with 574,354 people, accounting for 10.7% of the total population, while Dhofar Governorate ranked fifth with 535,623 people, representing 9.9%.Among the remaining governorates, South Al Sharqiyah Governorate recorded 377,701 people, accounting for 7%, followed by North Al Sharqiyah Governorate with 322,914 people, or 6%. Al Dhahirah Governorate recorded 248,813 people, representing 4.6%, while Al Buraimi Governorate had 135,629 people, 2.5% of the total population.Al Wusta Governorate’s population stood at 64,566 people, accounting for 1.2%, while Musandam Governorate recorded 55,802 people, representing 1% of the Sultanate of Oman’s total population.

ارتفع إجمالي اشتراكات خدمات الاتصالات المتنقلة في سلطنة عُمان بنسبة 1.3 بالمائة بنهاية شهر يونيو 2026م، ليبلغ 8 ملايين و324 ألفًا و406 اشتراكات، مقارنةً بنهاية يونيو 2025م، وفقًا لأحدث البيانات الصادرة عن المركز الوطني للإحصاء والمعلومات.وأظهرت البيانات ارتفاع الاشتراكات النشطة للهاتف المتنقل الآجلة الدفع بنسبة 6.2 بالمائة، لتبلغ مليونًا و313 ألفًا و837 اشتراكًا، في حين تراجعت الاشتراكات النشطة للهاتف المتنقل المسبقة الدفع بنسبة 2.1 بالمائة، لتبلغ 5 ملايين و305 آلاف و401 اشتراك.وسجلت اشتراكات خدمات إنترنت الأشياء «آلة إلى آلة» نموًا بنسبة 9.3 بالمائة، لتبلغ مليونًا و705 آلاف و168 اشتراكًا بنهاية يونيو 2026م.وفي قطاع خدمات الإنترنت، سجل إجمالي الاشتراكات النشطة للإنترنت المتنقل ذي النطاق العريض ارتفاعًا طفيفًا بنسبة 0.3 بالمائة، ليبلغ 5 ملايين و534 ألفًا و86 اشتراكًا، فيما بلغ إجمالي الاشتراكات النشطة للإنترنت الثابت ذي النطاق العريض 591 ألفًا و630 اشتراكًا، مرتفعًا بنسبة 0.5 بالمائة مقارنةً بنهاية يونيو 2025م.وعلى صعيد تقنيات الإنترنت الثابت، ارتفعت اشتراكات تقنية الألياف البصرية للمنازل والمنشآت «FTTH/B» بنسبة 7.4 بالمائة، لتبلغ 364 ألفًا و487 اشتراكًا بنهاية يونيو 2026م.وفي المقابل، انخفضت اشتراكات الجيل الخامس الثابت بنسبة 2.5 بالمائة، لتبلغ 210 آلاف و125 اشتراكًا، كما تراجعت اشتراكات الجيل الرابع الثابت بنسبة 73 بالمائة، لتبلغ 5 آلاف و666 اشتراكًا.وانخفضت اشتراكات خدمة الخط المشترك الرقمي «ADSL» بنسبة 20.9 بالمائة، لتبلغ 8 آلاف و933 اشتراكًا، في حين سجلت الاشتراكات الساتلية أعلى معدل نمو بين تقنيات الإنترنت الثابت، مرتفعةً بنسبة 134.3 بالمائة، لتبلغ ألفًا و696 اشتراكًا.كما ارتفع إجمالي الاشتراكات النشطة للهاتف الثابت بنسبة 0.2 بالمائة، ليبلغ 439 ألفًا و829 اشتراكًا بنهاية يونيو 2026م.وارتفعت السعة الدولية للإنترنت بنسبة 31.8 بالمائة، لتصل إلى 5 ملايين و382 ألف ميجابيت/ثانية بنهاية يونيو 2026م.

The total number of mobile telecommunications subscriptions in the Sultanate of Oman increased by 1.3% by the end of June 2026, reaching 8,324,406 subscriptions, compared to the end of June 2025, according to the latest data released by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI).The data showed that the active postpaid mobile subscriptions rose by 6.2% to 1,313,837 subscriptions, while active prepaid mobile subscriptions declined by 2.1% to 5,305,401 subscriptions.Subscriptions to Internet of Things (IoT) machine-to-machine (M2M) services recorded a 9.3% increase, reaching 1,705,168 subscriptions by the end of June 2026.In the internet services segment, the total number of active mobile broadband subscriptions recorded a slight increase of 0.3%, reaching 5,534,086 subscriptions. Meanwhile, total active fixed broadband subscriptions stood at 591,630, up by 0.5% compared to the end of June 2025.Regarding fixed broadband technologies, Fiber-to-the-Home/Building (FTTH/B) subscriptions increased by 7.4%, reaching 364,487 subscriptions by the end of June 2026.In contrast, Fixed 5G subscriptions declined by 2.5% to 210,125 subscriptions, while Fixed 4G subscriptions fell sharply by 73% to 5,666 subscriptions.Subscriptions to Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) services decreased by 20.9% to 8,933 subscriptions. Meanwhile, satellite broadband subscriptions recorded the highest growth rate among fixed internet technologies, surging by 134.3% to 1,696 subscriptions.The total number of active fixed-line telephone subscriptions also increased by 0.2%, reaching 439,829 subscriptions by the end of June 2026.International internet bandwidth expanded by 31.8%, reaching 5.382 million Mbps by the end of June 2026.
