  • Presentation Summary: ArcGIS is being used in a variety of scientific areas and disciplines, from agricultural engineering to public health and wildlife biology. GIS contributes to the entire scientific process: question generation, data collection, exploratory and quantitative analysis, and presentation of results to closed groups or to the world. To accompany this session we will send ahead of time several copies of the 2021 Esri Press book “GIS for Science, volume 2”.
