سجل الناتج المحلي الإجمالي بالأسعار الجارية لسلطنة عُمان بنهاية الربع الرابع من عام 2023م (بداية من يناير وحتى ديسمبر 2023) انخفاضا بنسبة 2.8 بالمائة ليصل (بسعر السوق) إلى 41 مليارا و837 مليونا و800 ألف ريال عماني، مقارنة بنهاية الربع الرابع من عام 2022م، والذي بلغ الناتج المحلي الإجمالي بالأسعار الجارية خلاله 43 مليارا و42 مليونا و400 ألف ريال عماني وذلك وفق البيانات الأولية الصادرة عن المركز الوطني للإحصاء والمعلومات.

كما انخفضت الأنشطة النفطية بنسبة 11.9 بالمائة مسجلة 14 مليارا و971 مليونا و200 ألف ريال عماني بنهاية الربع الرابع من 2023م مقارنة بـ 16 مليارا و993 مليونا و700 ألف ريال عماني بنهاية الربع الرابع من 2022م حيث بلغت مساهمة الأنشطة النفطية ما نسبته 36 بالمائة.

وانخفضت أنشطة النفط الخام أيضا بنسبة 14 بالمائة مسجلة 12 مليارا و788 مليونا و200 ألف ريال عماني، فيما ارتفعت أنشطة الغاز الطبيعي بنسبة 2.4 بالمائة مسجلة مليارين و183 مليون ريال عماني.

وارتفعت الأنشطة غير النفطية بنسبة 1.7 بالمائة مسجلة بنهاية الربع الرابع من 2023م ما قيمته 28 مليارا و153 مليونا و800 ألف ريال عماني مقارنة مع 27 مليارا و671 مليونا و200 ألف ريال عماني في نهاية الربع الرابع من 2022م.

وسجل إجمالي الأنشطة الصناعية 7 مليارات و762 مليونا و800 ألف ريال عماني مقارنة بـ 8 مليارات و234 مليونا و400 ألف ريال عماني بنهاية الربع الرابع من 2022م، فيما سجلت أنشطة الزراعة والحراجة وصيد الأسماك 966 مليونا و400 ألف ريال عماني، وسجلت الأنشطة الخدمية 19 مليارا و424 مليونا و600 ألف ريال عماني.

وبلغت مساهمة نشاط الإنشاءات ما نسبته 7 بالمائة مقابل 8 بالمائة لتجارة الجملة والتجزئة و9 بالمائة للإدارة العامة والدفاع و40 بالمائة لباقي الأنشطة الأخرى الغير النفطية.

The gross domestic product at current prices of the Sultanate of Oman at the end of the fourth quarter of 2023 (from January to December 2023) recorded a decrease of 2.8% to reach (at market price) RO 41.8 billion, compared to the end of the fourth quarter of 2022, during which the GDP at current prices reached RO 43 billion, according to preliminary data issued by the National Centre for Statistics and Information.

This decrease is mainly due to the drop in oil activities, which decreased by 11.9% to RO 14.9 billion at the end of the fourth quarter of 2023 compared to RO 16.9 billion at the end of the fourth quarter of 2022, where the contribution of oil activities reached 36%.

Crude oil activities declined by 14% to RO 12.8 billion, while natural gas activities increased by 2.4% to reach RO 2.2 billion. Non-oil activities increased by 1.7% to RO 28.2 billion by the end of the fourth quarter of 2023 compared to RO 27.7 billion at the end of the fourth quarter of 2022.

The total industrial activities recorded RO 7.8 billion, compared to RO 8.2 billion at the end of the fourth quarter of 2022, while agriculture, forestry and fishing activities recorded RO 966 million, and service activities recorded RO 19.4 billion.

The contribution of the construction activities amounted to 7%, compared to 8% for wholesale and retail trade, 9% for public administration and defense, and 40% for other non-oil activities.
