On Wednesday, 3 September 2025, the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the General Authority for Statistics of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to strengthen cooperation between the two brotherly countries in the fields of statistics and information.

The MoU aims to develop and enhance the statistical system by exchanging expertise and information, implementing joint awareness programs, facilitating access to and understanding of data, organizing mutual visits for experts and specialists, holding seminars, conferences, and workshops, and exploring new areas for future collaboration.

This step reflects the distinguished relations between Oman and Saudi Arabia across various fields and the commitment of both parties to enhance statistical integration and knowledge exchange. The partnership seeks to keep pace with global developments in the statistical field and to support decision-makers in developing evidence-based policies grounded in accurate and reliable data.
